Two undercover Portsmouth Police officers arrested a New Boston woman Saturday on drug charges. Carol M. King, 33, of 3201 Rhodes Ave., was reportedly walking south on Campbell Avenue when the officers noticed her and another woman and recognized they were both on probation.
The officers asked if the two had anything on them and it appeared to officers that King was trying to hide something behind her back. He then noticed she put something in her pants, and it appeared what she had was two needles and a crack stem. When officers removed the needles, they noticed a brown color inside. The liquid appeared to the officers to be heroin.
King was processed and booked by Portsmouth Police.
