Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper said at around 2:16 a.m. Saturday. Deputy David Bocook responded to TKT Trucking, 200 Harris St., in Wurtland, Kentucky, in reference to a 911 report of a stabbing victim who was at the business.
Cooper said, upon the arrival of officers and the following investigation, deputies learned that a domestic dispute had erupted between the victim, Thomas Michael Blanton, 29, and his wife, Victoria M. Blanton, 24, both of 32 Elwood Lane in Greenup, at that residence.
After being stabbed, Thomas Blanton reportedly drove himself to TKT Trucking where the incident was reported to authorities. Thomas Blanton was transported to Our Lady of Bellfonte emergency room, then later transferred to St. Mary’s Hospital because of the severity of his injuries.
