Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said his Office responded to a robbery complaint that occurred around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Super Quik on Galena Pike in West Portsmouth.

According to the report, around 2:30 a.m. two males entered the store wearing dark colored ski masks. One of the suspects was around 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing a camouflage ball cap, blue jeans and a flannel jacket. The other suspect was around 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, also with a thin build and wearing a black hooded jacket and blue jeans.

One suspect had a knife and the other suspect was carrying a metal type bar or pipe. The suspect with the knife went behind the counter and demanded the money while the other suspect stood by the door acting as a look out. There was an undetermined amount of cash taken from the store, and both suspects fled on foot to the area behind the store.

Donini said if anyone has information about the case they can contact Detective Dan Malone at 740-351-1099 and all information will be kept confidential.
