“We had 177 racers which is up 30 percent from last year’s first Jingle Bell Jog,” Arnzen said. “We want to say a big thank you to our volunteers who helped us prepare and put on this race, the sponsors and then of course the racers.”

Second place overall male went to Johnny Clay of Lucasville at 19:49, and third place went to Levi Pack of Portsmouth in 20.28 minutes. The first female finisher was Missy Taylor of Ashland, Ky. Kara Coldiron of Greenup Ky., finished second, and Hannah Conn of Portsmouth came in as the third overall womens’ finisher at 23.26 minutes.
The first place Christmas Costume Contest winner was Dr. Michael Raies as “The Grinch,” who finished the race in 34.47 minutes, in costume.
